Hens Steehouwer joined the Ortec Finance Executive Team in 2024 as Chief Innovation Officer.
In this role, he is responsible for driving innovation across the company’s suite of solutions for institutional, private wealth, and real estate investors globally.
Since joining Ortec Finance in 1997, Hens has held several senior positions and led numerous strategic and R&D initiatives. His book “Macroeconomic Scenarios and Reality” laid the foundations for the risk modeling technology of Ortec Finance as used by investors around the world. Hens is an appreciated lecturer at various universities and in professional education programs.
Hens holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a PhD from the Free University of Amsterdam.
